Under Chef Jean-Baptiste, they will learn a variety of European Breads that are suited for Asian Markets and Preferences. They will explore global trends, delve into the art and science of baking and learn to streamline business processes and operations to produce large-scale commercial production.

About Chef Jean-Baptiste: 

With over 17 years of experience in craft and semi-industrial bakeries, as well as teaching baking globally for a cause, Chef Jean Baptiste Ballot has built an impressive and diverse career. He defies the cliché that “French bakers” should only be limited within the borders of France, solely making and selling baguettes.

Remarkably, he has worked in six other countries namely Mexico, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, and now, in the Philippines.​ And for him, it’s not just about planting a flag in a country; Chef Chef Jean Baptiste Ballot has also collaborated with prominent global and local companies such as Lenôtre, LBF, Le Ponant.

Now, with pride and a wealth of worldwide experience, he is set to make his mark in the Philippines and APAC region, aiming to achieve significant milestones with Lesaffre.​
